Aliza is an actor and writer. Some of her favorite credits include Cordelia in West Virginia Public Broadcasting’s Production of King Lear (Regional Emmy nomination- best long or short form content), and Aunt Julie in Hedda Gabler (West Virginia University). She is a proud founding member of Ego Death Theatre Collective and an alumnus of shattered glove theatre’s protégé ensemble. www.alizabroder.com

Joshua David Thomas, an Illinois State University graduate, excels in commercials while cherishing a deep-rooted love for theatre. Represented by Big Mouth Talent Agency and Now Talent Agency, he brings versatility and passion to every performance, captivating audiences with his dynamic energy and commitment to storytelling.

Jeremy is a Chicago-based actor, graduating with his theatre degree from Illinois State University. Favorite performances include Waiting for Lefty, Roe, and Richard III on the main stage, as well as Romeo & Juliet in middle school cafetoriums throughout the state.

Playwright - Clayton Smith

Clayton Smith is a Chicago-area writer whose work includes the novels Apocalypticon, Anomaly Flats, Na Akua, and the Dark Matter series. In addition to The Depths, his playwrighting credits include the comedic play Death and McCootie, which debuted at the 2013 New York International Fringe Festival. He is the co-host of the weekly comedy podcast Is This a Ghost?, and he is also the director of the Marketing degree program at Columbia College Chicago, where he teaches courses in digital media and brand integrity. 

Director - Jackson Dillon

Jackson C. Dillon is honored to direct a piece of Ego Death’s pilot season. He graduated from Illinois State University with a B.S. in theatre, and has acted in projects such as La Traviata (MIOpera), Sound of Music (MIOpera), and Rhinoceros (Illinois State). He is currently guest directing fro Clifton Central High School’s production of The Man Who Came to Dinner,

Admin Team

Carol is an actor who has appeared in the Illinois Shakespeare Festival, and in films/commercials during her stint in LA. Opening a theatre company has been her lifelong dream. Love to her family, collaborators, and cats.

Benjamin is an actor and writer trained at Illinois State University. He is incredibly excited to be embarking on this endeavor with the wildly talented artists assembled here.

Tom Cook is honored to work with Ego Death Theatre Collective. Most recently, he worked as Co-President of Seventh Grade Sketch Comedy based in Virginia All for Misty.

A workshop production of "Personal Library," a new play by Chicago-area playwright Emma S. Rund. This world premier follows a woman who finds solace from the world and her past in the pages of books from her childhood.

Sunny Days (June 7th, 8th @7:30pm, 9th@4pm)

A workshop production of "Sunny Days," a new play by Chicago-area playwright Reina Hardy. This world premier utilizes both people and puppets to explore political themes in three parts: past, present, and apocalyptic future.
