DESCRIPTION

All Bernie talks about is sex. All Dan listens to is Bernie. When Dan falls in love with Deborah, she realizes how well Dan has been listening. A play about misogyny, male bonding, and why the people at last call are there in the first place.

SEEKING

DEBORAH SOLOMON: (She/Her, 20s) An artist. Intelligent, but naive. Tries to see the best in people.

JOAN WEBBER: (She/Her, 20s) A kindergarten teacher, Deborah’s friend and roommate. Has seen a lot, and heard even more, knows what men want and what they’re willing to trade for it.

PREPARATION

Please prepare 1 contemporary monologue, a maximum of 2 minutes in length.

Tech Week: May 18- 22, 6pm-11pm

Performances: May 23-25, May 29-June 1 (Thursdays and Fridays at 7:30pm, Saturday at 2:30pm and 7:30pm, Sundays at 2:30pm).
